SUBSCRIBE TO RAM N JAVA7 Hidden Google Pay Features You Should Know!
Most people only use Google Pay to send or receive money. But did you know it has secret features that can make your life much easier? From splitting bills to extra security, here is how to use GPay like a pro.
1. Instant Bank Balance Check
You don't need a separate banking app or an ATM to check your balance.
- Open Google Pay.
- Tap on your Bank Account.
- Select Check Balance and enter your UPI PIN.
2. Extra Privacy with App Lock
For better safety, you can set a lock specifically for Google Pay that is different from your phone's main lock. Go to Settings > Privacy > App Lock to turn this on.
3. Request Money Easily
If someone owes you money, don't feel awkward! Use the Request feature. Tap on 'New Payment', select the contact, and hit 'Request' instead of 'Pay'. They will get a notification to pay you back instantly.
4. Split Bills with Friends
Eating out with a group? Use the Split Bill feature in the 'New Payment' section. Google Pay calculates exactly how much each person needs to pay, so there is no confusion.
5. Full Transaction History
Track every rupee you spend. By tapping View all transactions, you can see the date, time, and status of every payment you have ever made.
6. All-in-One Bill Payments
You can pay for everything—Electricity, DTH, Water, Gas, and even Internet—directly inside GPay. It saves time and keeps all your receipts in one place.
7. Multiple UPI IDs
Sometimes bank servers are busy. You can create Multiple UPI IDs for the same bank account. If one fails, the other will work! Find this under your Bank Account settings.
