How to Cancel Your Train Ticket on Paytm & Get a Refund

✅ Steps to Cancel Your Ticket

1. Go to 'My Orders': Open the Paytm app and navigate to the "All Services" or "Ticket Booking" section. Tap on "My Orders" to find your train booking.

2. Select Your Booking: Click on the specific train journey you wish to cancel. You will see the details of your ticket here.

3. Click 'Cancel': Look for the "Cancel" button. You can choose to cancel the entire ticket or select specific passengers if you are traveling in a group.

4. Confirm Cancellation: Paytm will show you the estimated refund amount after deducting IRCTC cancellation charges. Tap on "Confirm" to proceed.

💰 Understanding Your Refund

• Where does the money go? The refund is usually credited back to the original payment source (e.g., your Bank Account, UPI, or Paytm Wallet).
• How long does it take? Once canceled, the refund typically reflects in your account within 3 to 7 working days.
• Cancellation Charges: IRCTC deducts a fee based on how close you are to the departure date. Canceling early saves you more money!

⚠️ Important Note:

You cannot cancel a ticket on Paytm once the Chart is Prepared. For such cases, you may need to file a TDR (Ticket Deposit Receipt) through the IRCTC website.
