The 'updateOne' Method

MongoDB provides a specific method called updateOne(). As the name suggests, it targets the first document it finds that matches your search criteria and applies the changes you specify.

Step 1: Define Your Filter

First, you need to tell Java which document to update. You do this using a filter. For example, you might want to find a document where the "id" is 101 or the "name" is "Java Course".

Step 2: Set the New Values

Exploring Spring AOP Advice Types

In the world of Spring AOP (Aspect-Oriented Programming), "Advice" is the action taken by an aspect at a particular join point. If you want to master how Spring handles cross-cutting concerns, you need to understand the different types of advice available.

1. Before Advice

As the name implies, Before Advice runs right before the method execution. It is commonly used for security checks or logging the start of a process. It cannot stop the method from executing unless it throws an exception.

2. After Returning Advice

This advice executes only after a method successfully completes its execution without any errors. It's great for logging results or post-processing the returned data.

3. After Throwing Advice

If your method runs into trouble and throws an exception, After Throwing Advice steps in. This is perfect for global error handling or notifying an admin when something goes wrong in the background.

4. Around Advice

The most powerful of them all! Around Advice can perform custom behavior both before and after the method invocation. It also has the power to decide whether to proceed to the joint point or to short-circuit the execution entirely.
