1. Go to 'My Orders': Open the Paytm app and navigate to the "All Services" or "Ticket Booking" section. Tap on "My Orders" to find your train booking.

2. Select Your Booking: Click on the specific train journey you wish to cancel. You will see the details of your ticket here.

3. Click 'Cancel': Look for the "Cancel" button. You can choose to cancel the entire ticket or select specific passengers if you are traveling in a group.

4. Confirm Cancellation: Paytm will show you the estimated refund amount after deducting IRCTC cancellation charges. Tap on "Confirm" to proceed.

💰 Understanding Your Refund

• Where does the money go? The refund is usually credited back to the original payment source (e.g., your Bank Account, UPI, or Paytm Wallet).
• How long does it take? Once canceled, the refund typically reflects in your account within 3 to 7 working days.
• Cancellation Charges: IRCTC deducts a fee based on how close you are to the departure date. Canceling early saves you more money!

⚠️ Important Note:

You cannot cancel a ticket on Paytm once the Chart is Prepared. For such cases, you may need to file a TDR (Ticket Deposit Receipt) through the IRCTC website.

How to Book Train Tickets on Paytm: A Beginner's Guide

Booking a train ticket doesn't have to be a struggle. With Paytm, you can skip the long queues and book your seat from the comfort of your home. In this guide, we’ll show you exactly how to do it!

📍 Step 1: Search Your Train

Open the Paytm app and tap on "Trains". Enter your starting station and your destination. Select your travel date and click on "Search Trains". You’ll see a list of all available trains for that route.

💺 Step 2: Choose Your Class

Check the availability for different classes like Sleeper (SL), 3AC, or 2AC. Paytm shows you the probability of confirmation if the ticket is on the Waitlist. Once you find a "Confirmed" or "Available" seat, tap on it to proceed.

📝 Step 3: Enter Passenger Details

Important: Enter the name, age, and gender of all passengers exactly as per their Aadhar card. You will also need to enter your IRCTC User ID. If you don't have one, you can create it directly through the app!
