Now, imagine your house is a large apartment building. The IP address gets the mail to the building, but how does it know which room to go to? That’s where the Port comes in. How They Work Together
When you browse the web, your computer uses a combination of an IP address and a Port number to communicate. It's like saying: "Send this data to the building at 123 Main St (IP) and deliver it to Apartment 80 (Port)." Without both, your data would get lost or wouldn't know which app to open!
