1. LCD (Liquid Crystal Display)

LCD monitors use a layer of liquid crystals to create images. These crystals don't produce their own light, so they need a "backlight" (usually fluorescent) to make the picture visible.

  • Cons: Limited viewing angles and slightly slower response times.

2. LED (Light Emitting Diode)
